What I Do

I'm Kate.

An an operations consultant based in Devon. I've worked with over 50 small businesses across the UK, and I've spent 20 years before that teaching science.Every one of them had more friction than they realised.

After two decades teaching science in secondary schools, I learnt that almost anything can be made simple with the right explanation. That skill has shaped everything I do today.

Now I help business owners untangle the way their business works. We uncover where time is disappearing, where work gets stuck, and what's creating unnecessary friction. Then we build simpler ways of doing things.

That might mean redesigning your processes, introducing AI, implementing new software, automating repetitive tasks, or creating systems your team can actually follow.

But we don't start with the tools. We start by understanding the business. Because the best software in the world won't fix a broken process.

I don't believe in adding complexity for the sake of it, and I won't recommend technology you don't need. Every system, every automation and every tool should make your business feel lighter, simpler and easier to run.

And I don't disappear after handing you a report. We work together to build solutions that fit your business and the people inside it, so the changes actually stick.
